Just got home from seeing this... And it's difficult. I've been writing reviews for a while at Hungarian forums, but I felt this deserves one here too

I have to say, it's a great movie. The world of Pandora is just so awesome. I knew that this was going to be awesome, because of it's director, cast and budget. This is something that Everybody needs to see in 3D. As it is intended to be saw...
Deep down I was afraid that this is just Pocahontas in space. Well basically it is, but at the same time it's so, so much more. Every moment is entertaining, from the first minute till the last, you are enjoying the movie. Only a few can archieve this.
Ultimately it fails to deliver the Star Wars of our generation, but this is a true experience. One of the greatest movie I EVER saw, and I saw a LOT. It's really beautyful and brilliant. Has some OMFG scenes... Very powerful ones. Especially in 3D.
So, go buy your ticket, and see this! Alone, not with family. No fucking distractions
It's a great movie, but here are some things that could have made this EPIC:
- A better plot. It's not bad, but we saw it before.
- More alien aliens. Not just blue tall people.
- More Michelle Rodriguez. Period.
- A better composer and score. James Horner is Great, but for a movie like this, Mr. Cameron should've hired something more epic. Hans Zimmer or John Williams for example.
- More sci-fi in it. Apart from spaceships, there was absolutely no true sci-fi in it. I believe I can see this kind of stuff in a few decades.
- A little shorter... A few minute could have been cut. (10-15 maybe)
9.5/10 - So close...
